Two things that don't mix as far as I am concerned are being tired and being cold. When I wake up, I want it to be 75 degrees in my apartment. And just because I have to go to work doesn't mean that I should leave the feeling of being cuddled up in my blankets at my apartment.
I wear an undershirt and a comfortable jacket or coat to work. Then at about 9:30 or 10am, when I am naturally ready to start my day, I can "get out of bed" by just taking my coat off.

1. There is no such thing as Mothers Day. No worry about cards, gifts, and expensive meals. There is no honor in being a woman in our culture, so there is no reason to devote a day to her. We do, however, get to enjoy watching our fathers beat our mothers senseless for the slightest real or imagined infraction. Also, if Dad suspects that Mom spoke to a strange man in the street, he gets to kill her to preserve the family honor!

So, my friend at work, Pete, let me see the Japanese version he "aquired" online of Final Fantasy VII. We spent all after lunch scrubbing through an AVI of the Japanease version with subtitling and it was fantastic! Honestly the trailers on the website don't do it justice at all. I think the release date on this movie for US is going to be in November— it got pushed back for some reason.
But oh my God the CG animation, lighting and the subtlety of the movement especially the hair is amazing!
Holy crap. I wonder what they used, if they used Maya or 3D StudioMax or Cinema 4-D. I gotta learn this shit and get a job somewhere cool.

I was visiting some japanese friends during the weekend and found a little wind-up radio in their kitchen. Apparently, their dad (who travels a lot) bought it at a japanese airport. Everything was as usually is with a radio on the front; an AM & FM switch, volume and tuning knobs, etc.
But on the back I found this odd little switch. What the hell does it do? Do I have to flick the switch if I'm not 'normal'?

Does anyone know why I can't seem to view certain websites that have encryption with firefox and get the above message? My IE and Firefox are both using the same protocol and proxy but I can't seem to download or interface certain webpages in Firefox. Including Firefox when trying to "download missing extensions" all I get is a timeout sentence and this error code.
Argh. Help.

"are you an idiot? have you forgotten to copy this masterpiece of
your invaluable time and energy to another source, in case
i didn't take the time and energy to hold your hand and protect it for you?"
Go fuck yourself Ben. You still don't seem to get that the above problem occurs mostly when people are commenting on posts, not creating them.
This website sucks, I hope it dies a pathetic death you shitty web-designer you. No wonder why you can't pick up a real job.

And Shawn, I'm looking in your direction.
I'm collecting the orange Mountain Dew caps once again. Probably only for another 2 weeks though. So if you have a bunch of Mt. Dew bottles laying in the back seat of your car like you should, save those orange caps for me, and bring them to Poker which you should attend Weekly (thursdays). If you need directions or times for poker, ask away.

Bush was on vacation. Therefore, he cannot be blamed.
To find out who was responsible, we must look to who was filling in for Bush while he was on holiday.
Chain of Command:
-Vice President Cheney = vacation in Wyoming
-Speaker of the House = vacation in Illinois
-President pro tempore of the Senate Stevens = vacation in Alaska
-Secretary Rice = vacation in New York
-Secretary of the Treasury John Snow = vacation in Britain
-Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld = vacation in New Mexico
-Attorney General Alberto Gonzales = vacation in Texas
Secretary of the Interior Gale A. Norton = NOT ON VACATION
So, there you have it.
Gale Norton, a lifelong conservationist, public servant and advocate for bringing common sense solutions to environmental policy, KILLED 10,000+ Americans by failing to act.

hey now... most of you who know me know that i hardly eat anything anymore. i realized today that it seems to have more than two factors, one of which is caused by my laziness, the other by one of the few things that i can get over my natural laziness for... i eat much larger portions of my food, or homemade food in general...
so i'm just asking here, what do you estimate your home to out eating, and why? i'm about to go to the store to pick up some food and test my theory, while i'm out, tell me your side.

All the crazies have come out illuminating God's storm Katrina as the punishment for a number of sins including, homosexuality in New Orleans, the Gaza pullback of Jewish Settlers, oppression of Islamic peoples, and voting for Bush. Of course they are all wrong, and I just wanted to proclaim the TRUTH that is his word. God Punishes Everyone Sooner or Later No Matter What They Do or Say.
