Hello All.
Are you tired of using PayPal for online transactions? Consider the following up and coming company - GreenZap - which has a better reward system than the PayPal behemoth.
They are still in pre-registration mode: if you pre-register (for free) you are immediately rewarded for $25 on your account.
You can find out more here:

From nin.com:
Nine Inch Nails will not be performing at the MTV Movie Awards as previously announced. We were set to perform "The Hand That Feeds" with an unmolested straightforward image of George W Bush as the backdrop. Apparently the image of our president is as offensive to MTV as it is to me. See you on tour this fall when we return to play in America.

Walter Jones (R-NC), is pissed.
The thing is, I'm all for the goals of the Iraq war. I hope its executed well and that some diplomatic solution to the Sunni insurgency can be found. However, Even if the war is a huge success, I still think America was fed a pack of lies to justify it and that our commander in chief should be impeached for lying to congress. I think that doing so will bring balance to the force or something.
Contrast and compare the seriousness here: "I did not have sexual relations with that woman" and "Iraq has weapons of mass destruction."
If an impeachment doesn't happen, I think the Republicans will be the ones to inheirit the old "moral relativism" tag.

does anyone here know of any possible bad side effects to drinking a quart of organic lemonade a day? cause Whole Foods sells them for a dollar apiece, and if you buy a case of 12, it's actually cheaper... and i've been bringing one into work every morning this week, and it's gone before 3 p.m.
other than the sugar (in this case, organic evaporate cane juice)... i can't see anything wrong. i'm avoiding scurvy and staying hydrated, hehehe

Ok, that was a pretty good movie... one guy put it right: there were a lot of really good things and a lot of pretty bad things, but overall, it was fine. I think the final count was 8 hands and 2 legs getting lopped off.
my favorite quote though:

I started getting some replies from the inquiries i made into laptop repair. i'm being told that LCD replacement averages $450... that plus $90 for diagnostics and labor (the cheapest i found) would be almost $550.
so what am i doing? looking around...
i'm thinking that the Dell workhorse was kind of heavy for my tastes/needs. maybe not, though, for the things i'd want it to do, which are (in order of importance to me):

thanks Michelle for the link to this story: apparently we've had the beast's number wrong for all this time.
i heard about this on this week's Wait Wait as well... Satan has been sitting at home, staring at his phone, in Ann Arbor, for 1500 years, waiting for someone, anyone to call.

that and their other are on om's site... freaking awesome, especially considering that they're usually "swing house" djs... these videos are "THE BEST AND MOST AWESOME VIDEO, EVER."
hehehehehe, you have to watch them

Suppose you were given 50 blank CDs by someone who had little to no knowledge of popular music, either comtemporarily or historically. Yet said person enjoyed music and wanted to be exposed to it. Or, pretend the person is an alien (if you're into that sort of thing) and gave you 50 discs to deliver a crash course in what's going on in music and where it came from. And if it sucked, said alien would destroy the planet. Or, maybe just your neighborhood.

Hey Everyone!
So, I just joined up to run in the National Leukemia/Lymphoma Society's Baltimore Marathon race. Yes, I know- crazy. I can barely run 2 miles without wanting to die and I'm taking on 23???!!!??? I must be out of my gourd.
But this is a cause that means a lot to me and a life goal I've always wanted to achieve. It's two great things that go great together.
So please, visit my running site and make a donation if you can. It's all completely tax deductible and will go towards research and programs to help people battling Leukemia, Lymphoma and other blood diseases. Also, companies can get corporate sponsorship on our jerseys with donations of one thousand dollars or more J now that's good advertising.
And pass it on to friends, family and co-workers. The more support the better! And check out my race blog for updates on my progress/training.
Thanks!

Hey Dan, any idea what company Artifact used to print all those lovely t-shirts? I'm looking to get a couple hundred shirts printed with a full-size color graphic on the front and a medium-ish size black & white logo on the back. I'd probably want the shirts themselves to be available in black or white.
Anyone else know of a good place to order such things? Right now I'm looking at Bender Graphics.

I've been noticing for a few months that my left eye is stronger than my right eye - not in terms of doing curls or opening beer bottles (both eyes are equally good at that) - but that my right eye has a much harder time making out small text that's far away. The problem is that "far away" has been getting closer and closer... so yesterday I went to the mall eyeglass place and the rather patronizing eye doctor (technician?) explained my prescription and sent me off to pick out glasses.
So I did, and today I will pick up my new pair... the first i've worn since around the middle of high school. Of course, my eyes were much better then, and the lenses weren't as strong as these will be, but we'll see what comes out of it... i'll take some pictures and put them up for yall

Top Secret British intelligence memo asserts Bush was fixing the facts to justify war with Iraq.
Racketeering: A conspiracy to commit serial fraud. A US federal crime.
Impeachment: U.S. Constitution Article I, Sections 2 and 3 - "the President, Vice President, and all civil officers of the United States shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors."

Last night at mosaic was really good. Miguel Migs and Lisa Shaw are just... awesome together. The music was good, the people were cool, and it was a cool night - but they had heat lamps.
personally, i'm not a fan of Power Plant Live (which is where this is), but i'll brave the fratpimps and sorostitutes (thanks John!) to hear this kind of house any time.
